Do you have any fun and unique Valentine’s Day gift ideas for pets that I missed? If so, I would love to hear about them in the comments section below!
Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers. It should be for friends and the best kind of friends: the furry ones. I definitely plan to buy my kitty something a little bit extra special in some of these were really good ideas. Great work in putting this list together!
We always spoil ours a little for Valentine’s Day. Honestly, most years my husband and I don’t get anything for each other, but we get something for them!
I absolutely love this post. Valentine’s day is so focussed on boyfriends, girlfriends, and spouses that we do forget those that love us unconditionally all year long. Our pets. For us it’s dogs and they are quite spoiled. We need to be careful about what we buy them in toys as they tend to destroy them quickly. Anything with a squeaker gets disassembled in about 5 minutes. We might have to stick with the bandana or collar to play it safe. We used to have a guinea pig and Buster would have loved that small plush bed. He loved hiding! What a fun list of Valentine’s Day gifts for pets.
Ours can be quite hard on toys too. Funnily enough, however, our girl Daviana has this flamingo (we call it Mingo) that she’s had for a few years now and she LOVES that old ratty thing. She protects it and loves on it so much our other dog Indiana won’t even touch it lol
Oh I love this! I used to have a pug, and all my friends thought I was crazy because on his birthday, and other special holidays we would get him special treats, and toys. I’d always remind them that he was not just a pet, but part of our family.-Pretty much my first baby, haha. These were really some great gift ideas for pets. They really need to feel the love just like we do. Thank you for sharing.
We spoil our ‘pack’ all the time. They get gifts wrapped under the tree at Christmas too. I wouldn’t have it any other way. As you said, they aren’t just pets, they are family!
Hi Britt,
These are excellent hand-picked ideas to please a beloved pet on Valentine’s day. Thank you for sharing.
As I’m reading this review, I’m sitting with a little pup on my knees. This puppy belongs to our Argentine tango teacher. Clementina met me today all shaking because her human was busy teaching students and couldn’t warm her up. As I am warming up this baby, I’m thinking that “Free kisses” shirt could be a perfect gift for this little girl.
My own dog is too big and too old for playing, but I love her with all my heart. My Parkie is black Labrador Retriever – now almost 16 year old..
Warm wishes,
Julia
Thank you for reading! Our pups are on the bigger end of life and one isn’t too interested in toys at this stage either. We opted for comfortable new beds and treats for Christmas as their big gifts, and we’re looking at new dog camping cots for Valentine’s Day so that they can have a comfortable elevated place to sleep when we’re outdoors.
There are some very cute gifts in this post. Makes me giggle thinking about the pets that will receive some of the valentine’s gifts. They are going to be so happy!
I was thinking the same thing as I made it! Like, we don’t have a bird but I could just imagine a cute bird playing around on the at hanging rope heart 🙂
What great gifts for all the fur babies out there. With so many cute options out there, I would find it hard to resist on getting my furbaby all the toys and adorable accessories.
I spend FAR more on my pets than my husband and I do on ourselves, I admit it lol
If I were to be a pet lover, few of these would have been an option and favorites. The selection here are top notch, classy and nice.
Thank you! We spoil our pets and I wouldn’t have it any other way
I never ever given my furry boys anything, I think will change it today
We love spoiling our pets for the holidays. Honestly, my husband and I don’t really do Valentine’s Day for us, but we do for our dogs and cats lol
I love these Valentine’s Day gift ideas for pets. My cats would love the fish toy and the catnip toys. So many great options to spoil your furry friends.
You can’t go wrong with catnip, right?
I’m not sure why I’m so surprised that there is so much out there for pets! Love all these valentine’s day themed gift ideas for our furry family members!!
The pet market has exploded over the last couple decades – it’s crazy to look at the stats at how much people are willing to spend on their pets!
I love how you even did gifts for the aquarium! Most lists neglect fish for pet gifts so when I saw that section it made me smile! May need to get a bag of chicken hearts for my friend’s cats as a treat!
When I was living in University housing I had a pet betta fish. I couldn’t get away with anything else so he was my much needed pet fix.
Awww this is such a fab article. I love all your ideas and yes it is important that pets also feel some love too xx
They are part of the family too, right?
I have 7 dogs and 1 cat so it’s tough to buy them all gifts. They did get some special treats though.
Special treats are good gift choices! How many people look forward to a box of chocolates this holiday? right? lol
Those are all cute Valentine’s gift ideas for our furbabies and affordable as well. I have plenty of cats and dogs so I usually buy them treats and toys.
We generally pick up some fun toys and treats for every holiday. After all, they deserve to be spoiled a little too, right?
These are so cute! I wish I’d have thought of this when it was Valentine’s Day haha!
There’s always next year! 🙂
Aw, these are such cute ideas! I wish I’d seen this post sooner. ? That heart shapes bird roop is adorable and I’d love the marimo hearts in my own aquarium.
We LOVE spoiling our pets! Not going to lie, we buy them little things like this every holiday (and the rest of the time in between too haha). Just another excuse to spoil them! 🙂
I like the collar!
Isn’t it cute?
These products are great for valentines day! I need to bookmark this article.
Thank you!
What a great well-rounded list! I’m in love with the love mice.
Aren’t they cute? Our cats are both big fans of simple mice like these. That being said, I LOVE that they come in bulk because they have a tendency to hide them all over our house lol
These are some really great gift ideas! I particularly like the dog t-shirt! I don’t have a pet myself (although I plan to get a dog at some point) but plenty of my family and friends do so I’ll be sure to show them this post!
Isn’t it adorable? Our dogs are a little big for most dog shirts on the market, as most are sized for smaller pups. However, I do have fun getting them dressed up for each holiday (even if it’s just a bandana or a collar).
Buying Valentine’s presents for pets is such a cute idea! I think my cat would love the heart-shaped scratcher and the catnip toys! xx
Isn’t the scratcher adorable? Our younger cat, Jinx, has an obsession with cardboard scratchers like that lol
This is such a unique gift guide – Valentine’s Day doesn’t just have to be for couples! The heart-shaped bed and hammock are so cute!
We love celebrating various holidays with our pets. I think I’m going to have to spend some time making homemade treats for our crew this year!
Great selection. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
♡ ☯ ☮ P&P style ☮ ☯ ♡
Thank you!
I’ll admit I never gave much thought to buying Valentine’s day gifts for pets. Normally I just treated it like every other day, but there are so many great gift ideas here and showing our pets how much we love them by getting them new toys or treats is a great idea. I will have to see what I can get Penny for Valentine’s day, shes’s not much into toys but maybe she would enjoy a new rope toy – hers is pretty ratty but she loves it so much.
Penny sounds a lot like our boy Indy. He really isn’t much of a toy dog, however, he does love his rope toys. They are the one exception.
Awe what a cute post! This reminds me I need to get my Toby something for Valentine’s Day!
I love spoiling ours! We take advantage of every holiday and special day to look for something they’d love (and yes, ‘just because it’s Wednesday’ is TOTALLY a special day lol)
