Serve His Coffee in A Fun Pet Dad Mug

If he’s the kind of pet dad that likes to start his day with a hot cup of coffee or his tea of choice, why not incorporate that into his gift?

There are a wide variety of different pet dad mugs ranging from funny to more heartfelt.

Take your gift to the next level by purchasing a package of his favourite coffee, a premium blend that he’s been wanting to try or adding some fun ‘extras’ such as a flavoured creamer or a bottle of Bailey’s.

You can even skip the wrapping by making his coffee for him on Father’s Day morning, bringing it to him in his new mug. (After all, there are plenty of you out there who would LOVE to skip the whole wrapping process…)

Add to His Wardrobe with A Pet Dad T-Shirt

Sometimes the best gifts are both fun AND practical.

The men in my life all have one thing in common – they could always use another t-shirt. With the warm weather upon us, what better time to add to their summer wardrobe?

Designs range from simple and heartfelt to more comical. You may even be able to incorporate his interests like the ‘DogFather’ shirt for the Godfather lovers out there!

Add A Little Personality to His Keys

Are you looking for something a little more subtle? Why not consider a keychain for your favourite pet dad?

Keychains are a great gift if you’ve agreed to keep giving small and they’re also the perfect add-on gift if you’re looking to top off that gift basket.

Their small size also makes them ideal if you’re mailing your gift to someone special.

Keep it simple with a saying like ‘We’re Dog People’ for shared keys or add a little extra fun by getting a keychain with a bottle opener. The options are endless!

Share Some Memories with A Picture Frame

Picture frames are a great way to give a more personalized gift this Father’s Day.

Do you already have a great photo to include? Print it out and add it to the frame before wrapping it. If you don’t, or if you’re looking for a bigger gift this year, why not include a gift certificate for a photography session with a local photographer?

This is also a great gift for those pet dads that are facing their first Father’s Day without the special pet that they’ve held dear.

While some frames are super generic, others allow for customization by engraving names, dates or special quotes into the frame.

Let Your Pet Deliver the Message

If you’re looking for a really cute way to wish that special someone a Happy Father’s Day, why not let your pet deliver the message?

There are a wide variety of adorable bandanas and pet shirts with sayings cute sayings available online.

Just be sure to check sizing before ordering! Trust me, I’ve made this mistake before… It doesn’t have the same effect if your large dog is walking into the room with their new XS t-shirt on their snoot because it’s the only place that it fits!

Add a Little Humour to His Day

We all need a little laugher in our lives, right? Why not use his Father’s Day gift to make him smile and give him a good chuckle this year?

There are a wide variety of fun (and funny) gifts available online.

Personally, I think I need to pick up the Pooping Pooches adult colouring book for my husband! I’m sure he’d get a good laugh out of that (and the colouring would give him something to do while we’re stuck at home).

Consider His Hobbies and Interests

If you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gifts for pet dads in your life, why not consider their hobbies and interests to customize your choices?

Is he a big sports fan? There are plenty of adorable pet jerseys and related gear that would let you deck out your pet for the next big game!

Does he love his car? Why not pick up a fun vinyl sticker or car magnet?

My husband is BIG into craft beer. He actually blogs as well, writing about craft beer with his buddy Jack on their craft beer blog The Intoxicated Review. Incorporating that into my gift giving, I could look at fun beer glasses like the one in my recommendations or a t-shirt that states that it’s not drinking alone if the dog is home.

Think outside the box and you’re sure to come up with something special!

Don’t Forget the Card!

What’s a gift without a card?

There are plenty of fun pet-related cards available this Father’s Day! Hallmark hasn’t forgotten the incredible pet dads out there…

This is also a great option if you’re looking to send a little something to someone at a distance.

Imagine how fun it would be to open your mail and find one of these cards!
