#1 – Matching Collar and Friendship Bracelet

I recently discovered these adorable matching sets recently on Amazon and instantly fell in love.

While there are other companies that offer this style of product, I love that the Pettsie bracelets look like actual friendship bracelets instead of just a smaller collar that you are wearing around your wrist.

The available colours and patterns available appear to change periodically in their Amazon shop.

It’s such a fun and whimsical way to show off your dog mom pride!

#2 – FitBark GPS

We all know that step counters can encourage a more active lifestyle, but what if we monitor our dog’s activity level?

While it may not be easy to find the motivation to keep up with our fitness goals, few dog moms wouldn’t go above and beyond for their pups!

The FitBark unit attaches to your dog’s collar and syncs with the corresponding mobile app.

Not only will it help create fitness goals for your dog while monitoring important information including activity levels and sleep habits, but it also syncs with YOUR fitness tracker (including Fitbit, Apple Watch, Google Fit and HealthKit).

If you’re looking for gift ideas for dog moms that are working on improving their overall health and well-being, this is the perfect solution!

#3 – Dog Mom Socks

What dog mom doesn’t love showing off her dog whenever possible?

I don’t know about you, but I have hundreds of pictures of my dogs on my phone, ready to share on a moment’s notice (no, I’m not exaggerating).

Why not display those pictures in a fun and quirky way?

We were recently gifted a pair of custom Dog Mom socks from Printsfield which I had printed up with the Dav girl’s face on them.

The socks turned out much better than I had anticipated (the image of her face is surprisingly clear) and the turn around time was quick for a custom item.

PrintsField not only offers fun pet-themed personalized socks, they also have other personalized products including travel mugs, notebooks, laptop sleeves and even underwear!

Better still, a portion of every purchase is donated to animal shelters.

#4 – Dog-Themed Tattoo

Another fun and unique way of showing off that ‘dog mom pride’ would be a dog-themed tattoo.

Just search online and you’ll find a variety of different ideas including super realistic pet portraits, cute cartoons, paw prints, nose prints, dog-themed quotes and more.

Tattoos are a super personal choice, not something that the average person would want chosen for them.

That shouldn’t stop you from including new ink on your list of gift ideas!

Most tattoo artists will offer gift certificates, allowing you to give the gift of a new tattoo while still leaving it wide open to their individual style.

#5 – Car Seat Covers

As a dog mom, I love taking my pups with me everywhere that I can!

However, I don’t love the dog hair all through my jeep…

Does this sound familiar? If so, you understand why car seat covers would make such a great gift for the dog mom in your life. Especially if they have a vehicle that they love!

Here are many different options available ranging from hammock style seats to protect the back seats to bucket seat covers for the dog that likes to sit right next to you.

However, not all car seat covers are created equally.

Make sure that you are purchasing a product that is going to protect your seat from dirt, dander, scratches, accidents and more. Bonus points for easy cleaning!

This means that you want something both durable and waterproof.

For high-quality options, check out the Majestic Pet line of car seat covers. Their universal styles are designed to work for any vehicle.

#6 – Custom Spare Tire Cover

Speaking of gifts for those who love their vehicle, why not add a unique touch to their vehicle or travel trailer by gifting a custom spare tire cover?

I can’t take credit for this fun, unique idea.

A recent picture of the custom spare tire cover my mom and her boyfriend have on the back of their travel trailer.

My mother and her boyfriend are both camping addicts, travelling to all of their favourite campgrounds with their travel trailer.

Of course, they always bring their dogs along on their many adventures!

Looking to add a personal touch to their trailer, they ordered a custom spare tire cover, proudly showing off their boys.

While it is starting to show it’s wear (as you can see in the picture above), they still receive compliments everywhere they go.

There are a number of different sites that you can purchase your own custom spare tire cover.

However, the website ‘My Custom Tire Cover’ offers some great deals if you keep your eyes open!

#7 – Custom Pet Portrait

I’m not talking about those auto-generated digital images, made to look like artwork using a clever filter.

There are some incredibly talented artists available online. From pencil and charcoal sketches to watercolour and acrylic paintings, there are options available for every style.

I have recently been following the work of Teresa Thompson out of Oakville, Ontario, Canada after seeing a friend share her work on Facebook.

She is a fine art painter and her uber realistic work is incredible!

Just use the ‘Request Custom Order’ button on her Etsy page to discuss details.

    1. I am in love with that one! I am waiting for there to be more colours released in the right size and then I’m picking one up for myself too!

  1. I’m a dog mum to 2 and these are such cute suggestions! My dogs are very greedy and they love food more than anything, so the occasional treat gets them really happy ?

    1. Aren’t they fun? I was SO excited when the company contacted me. I had been looking at personalized socks online recently (they seemed to come up a lot on my Facebook) and I am totally THAT dog mom lol

  2. Perfect timing! It’s my Mum’s birthday next month and I’m running out of dog-themed gift ideas for her. I’ve literally bought her everything I can possibly think of related to our dog haha! The matching collar and bracelet is SUCH A CUTE IDEA but my dog can’t wear collars so that’s so annyoing!

    1. I wonder if you contacted the company (or a similar company) if they would be willing to make a matching harness and bracelet? I know of a few dogs that wear harnesses when they go out instead of collars.

  3. I absolutely love the matching friendship bracelet, and collar. Oh my goodness, I am going to have to order that for a few of my friends who have dogs. If we still had our pug I would love that! And what a cute idea for the car seat covers. All these gifts are great for dog moms. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

    1. We used tarps and sheets for car seat covers for a long time, but I always wanted something that not only protected our jeep but also looked good. That lead to researching car seat cover options. I love that the brand that I included are incredibly durable (made of a ballistic material) and waterproof. The dirtiest our dogs ever get before getting in the jeep is after a day a the beach lol

  4. Truth be told years ago I came up with an idea that I should have run with, It’s called the MizPaw and is a take off of the hebrew Mizpah which is jewelry often made in the form of a coin-shaped pendant cut in two. It will often be separated in to two pieces by a zig-zag line and bears the words “The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another”. My idea was to make one that you wear and your dog wears to show your bond. This would be similar to your matching collar and friendship bracelet. I love every single one of these ideas. My wife recently went to a paint night where they did portarits of their dogs. Our yorkie came out really cute.

    1. That sounds like an adorable idea and I’m sure that there are a lot of dog lovers that would jump on that! Our local rescue did a ‘paint your pet’ paint night fundraiser. I was disappointed that I couldn’t attend due to other plans, but at least then I didn’t have to choose which pet to paint lol

    1. I actually had an artist draw my mother’s two pups for Christmas a couple of years ago. She and her boyfriend are always hard to shop for but their dogs are their world, so it worked out great.

    1. Aren’t they adorable? I’m just waiting for them to restock some different styles and patterns in the larger sizes and then I can’t wait to get one for my Dav girl and I!

    1. Aren’t they sweet? They also have cat collars, so I’ve been wavering on picking one up for my girl Pippen (she needs a new collar right now lol)

  5. These ideas are all really cute – they collar combo sounds like such a friendship goals gift! I can’t wait to own my own dog one day and be matching.

We have a special pillow with our furry friend on, and my brother even has a mug! Thank you for sharing these ideas

    1. I have been following the bracelet/collar sets for a bit now – waiting for one that has a pattern/colour pattern that I want in the right size for my girl and I.

  6. Excellent gift ideas! I have a friend who’s a dog dad and I know he’d love some of these! I’m a cat mom through and through though! There’s no changing me.

    1. These would work for cats too! The sock company also offers cat socks and the collar/bracelet company has friendship bracelet and cat collar sets.
I love my cats too, so I’m both a dog mom and a cat mom.

    1. A couple of years ago I gifted my mom and her boyfriend a portrait of their two pups for Christmas. I love that it’s such a special and personal gift!

  7. Lovely gift ideas! I love the socks haha, I know you can get a lot of personalised socks with peoples or pets faces on, I think they’re great. The matching collar and friendship bracelet is soo adorable, that would be a lovely thoughtful gift.

    1. Yes! This company does all sorts of different designs including dog socks, cat socks, people socks, etc. So many fun options but I was instantly drawn to the Dog Mom pattern lol

    1. Aren’t they adorable? I love that it’s not too in your face, they look like normal bracelets, just like a friendship bracelet you’d have with a human best friend.

    1. We are changing the way that we pack the vehicle, moving the dogs from the very back to the seat right behind us. That needs a different cover, so we’re looking at ordering one soon! I love knowing that there are options that will keep the vehicle clean and safe, regardless of where in the vehicle you like to place your dogs during a trip!

  8. I have so many new tabs open right now checking out the things on this list, I’m getting one of those matching collars/ friendship bracelets for sure. I’m so so so tempted to get a doggy fitness tracker. I actually tried to attach my old fitbit that I don’t wear any more to Hugo recently so see if it would work….it didn’t (what a shock) x

    1. I LOVE the socks – there are a few good patterns on there too! Make sure to use the discount code so you can get a savings (not an affiliate link, just a code to help everyone out!)

  9. You’re right — that wasn’t your average gift guide and I loved it! You included some great ideas, some of which I have bookmarked for giftgiving season. I especially love the collar-bracelet combo.

    1. The collar/bracelet combo is so cute. I have seen a few other brands where they basically make a mini collar for your wrist, but I love that this one is an actual bracelet.

  10. These are some great ideas. I love the idea of a matching collar and bracelet. I’ve got a pair of personalised socks from Printsfield and they are such great quality.
