    1. Yes, there are a ton of fun cat costumes on Amazon. PLUS you can always purchase a small dog costume and use it for a cat (that’s what I often do with our cats)

  1. Omg yes! I’ve been waiting for a post like this all year – I love Halloween, and big dogs yes, please! I have two big dogs at home and I think they would look amazing in these outfits, although the one would just end up trying to eat it haha!

    1. Dogs in costume never fail to make me smile! I still need to decide what I want to dress our two up as this year. I have quite a few options at home already, but I may have to branch out and try something new!

  2. Wow……these are lovely ideas. I like the Spider-Dog costume. In Malaysia during Eid Mubarak, there a lot of online retailers selling tradition costumes for cats. Our former Youth & Sports Minister, Syed Saddiq support those businesses. How amazing!

    1. A lot of our local retailers sell costumes that can be used for dogs or cats, as the most common dogs to dress up are around the same size as an average cat. There are SO many options here and they are all adorable! I did give in and pick up costumes for the cats this year, which I shared on my TikTok for a good laugh haha

  3. These are some adorable costumes! I would love to see these on a dog lol. My neighbor has a large husky and I wonder if she would like to wear one of these! Her name is Shyla just like me! Lol

    1. That one is cute and so simple! I love that there isn’t much to it – which makes it easier for dogs that aren’t quite sure about being dressed up.

  4. I love all of these costume ideas for dogs. Our dog Penny is pretty tolerant about wearing costumes but doesn’t like seeing people in costumes. One of these years I want to dress her up and take her around town in her costume, maybe next year.

    1. I would love to do this with our dogs but Daviana has a SERIOUS love of children. I mean she gets WAY too excited the second she can be with them. It’s great when it comes to the nieces and nephews coming over to visit – she’s so patient and tolerant with them – but it doesn’t work so well walking her down a street filled with kids and expecting her not to get overwhelmed with excitement lol

  5. Oh my goodness! The TY one is definitely my favourite one – I’m obsessed! TOO CUTE! Sadly I only have small dogs so the tag will be very small for them haha!

  6. We don’t have a pup but did try to put the lion mane on our cat. That went over like a lead balloon! He acted like we were killing him and bounced around the living room until dislodged it. Maybe we need to get a well-behaved pup to dress up in some of these cute costumes.

    1. It takes time to help cats adjust to being dressed up. Our older cat Pippen is used to it by now and just rolls with whatever I put on her. We’re still working on Jinx, it depends on the day… Some days she’s up for wearing anything. Other days, she won’t even let us put her harness on lol

  7. Haha these are amazing! You’re right the UPS one is the funniest! I’m sure my Ipo would have that box chewed up in no time though. ? I’ve been wanting to dress her up as the ghost dog from the nightmare before christmas since she’s white.

  8. These costumes are so adorable! I think my favourites are the lion and little red riding hood. I don’t have a dog but I have a cat – she wouldn’t take well to being dressed up though!

    1. We dress our cats up occasionally but it has been a gradual process to get them used to it. That being said, Jinx is still on the fence depending on what the costume is, as can be seen on my TikTok recently… She was NOT a fan of the taco costume lol

    1. Isn’t that too fun? I would love to put that one on our boy Indy because we make fun of him for being a bit ‘prissy’ in his personality (my girl rolls in the mud while he tries not to get dirty more often than not lol)

  9. Oh my this is awesome! I love that you did this for LARGE dogs as they get overlooked at stores. I love the TY costume and it’s something that could totally be made not bought!

    1. Right? Just because my ‘lapdogs’ take a little more room (okay, a lot more room), that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to dress them up too!

  10. Thank you for sharing this! I always want to dress up my dogs for this Christmas and New Year coming soon xxx

  11. I love, love, LOVE these! I melt inside when I see pups dressed up in cute costumes, and I always tell my partner that when we move into our first house and get a dog that he will have his own closet for adorable costumes like these ones ?

  12. My husband is obsessed by the idea of dressing our pup up as a bumble bee for Halloween, although personally I’m pitching for Beanie Baby – it’s his nickname already and he is teeny tiny so a very convincing plushie!
