The best part? You can easily wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

A matching lid makes it easy to hide your dog’s toys away when company is over. Meanwhile, the cute 3D dog on the front makes it clear who it belongs to.

With three different sizes available, there are options to suit any space.

Combination Dog Stairs and Dog Toy Storage Box

If you share your home with a smaller dog that struggles to get up onto the furniture, you may have already entertained the idea of adding dog stairs to your home.

Why not select stairs that also double as a toy bin?

The bottom step here opens up, providing a safe, easy place to keep your dog’s toys tucked away.

Plus, the design also offers a warm, cozy house for your dog to curl up in.

    1. That’s a great idea. We currently have a laundry basket that we have repurposed for dog toys. Although I think I want to do something that will match the decor in that room more. The laundry basket is working great for now though (it matched better in our last house).

  1. This could not have come at a more perfect time. I had a huge clear out of Hugo’s toys at the weekend, got rid of the tatty ones and did a huge sweep of the house, and put away all of the ones he had stashed in random places. Turns out his toy box is overflowing when they’re all in there. The oversized cotton one looks perfect for him! x

    1. Isn’t it funny how they add up and we don’t necessarily notice it because they are busy stashing their toys in random places? We did a vacuum under the bed the other day and found 3 there that weren’t there just a few days prior… lol

  2. These are some great ideas. We have a wooden crate that we made ourselves for Trixie’s things. We painted it to match the decor and it has her name in wooden letters on the front.

  3. We currently have a shoe box tucked away underneath our stairs filled with dog toys, its over flowing so we definitely need to invest in something else. Thank you for sharing these cute ideas, there’s so many I love!

    1. That is similar to where we were at a few years ago. I had a cute wooden toy box but it wasn’t big enough with 2 large dogs. That meant that it was overflowing and we had a mess almost all the time around the house. I’m so glad that we decided to upgrade to a bigger option.

      1. way too smart I think. I used to have one of the shelves of said cupboard for other things but it was super annoying having them all up and ready for toy so we gave it up for toy completely (and it’s for the better considering raising numbers)

  4. You post about dogs always make me want one. I just know how much a responsibility another pet would be and I really want to wait until my infant son is a bit older before I commit. These are great dog toy storage ideas! I love the wooden bone shaped one!

  5. These are so cute Britt! We had a cute one for our pup like some of the ones you have here, but she shredded it to bits! I think either the metal or wooden one would be the way to go with Ipo. I’d never seen those two options before, so thank you!

    1. Oh no! Sounds like someone wanted to play with the bin as much as the toys inside it (if not more)! I had a wooden toy box for my girl Dav’s toys when she was younger.

  6. What a helpful array of options for storing away dog toys! You are really an expert in pet resources. Keep up the good work.

  7. It’s so easy to end up with loads of pet toys. You always need t make sure you allow plenty of storage space and containers.

    1. They add up and FAST! We were just going through our toy bin recently and weeding out what toys we were keeping because there were too many to fit in their large toy bin.

  8. I am definitely one that prefers to hide the mess and make everything look put away as much as possible – I don’t know what I’ll do when I have my own children, I’m sure my house will look like a bomb has gone off haha!

  9. Some of this look really cool and chic! I am loving them, specially the white wooden chest as it fits perfect with the rest of my furniture. No more toys on the floor for me to step on it at night !

  10. We tried baskets but our dog would just get everything out again once it was filled. We ended up with an ottoman in the living room. If he can’t see the toy, then an old one is new again in a few months!

  11. This is a great post! I have a few ideas for dog toy storage that I will be trying out. Thanks for the inspiration!
